Beechwood Business Connector Privacy Notice

How information is handled when the Beechwood Business Connector is connected to QuickBooks Online.

Last updated: September 8, 2026

This Privacy Notice explains how Beechwood Handymen collects, uses, protects, retains, and deletes information accessed through the Beechwood Business Connector when it is connected to QuickBooks Online.

This notice applies specifically to the Beechwood Business Connector. General information collected through the Beechwood Handymen website is governed by our separate Privacy Policy.

QuickBooks authorization

The Beechwood Business Connector is intended for authorized business use. A QuickBooks Online connection must be approved through Intuit’s authorization process by a person who has authority to access the selected QuickBooks company.

Intuit handles the QuickBooks sign-in process. Beechwood Handymen and the Connector do not receive or store your QuickBooks password.

After authorization, Intuit provides the Connector with authorization credentials and a QuickBooks company identifier. These allow the Connector to access only the QuickBooks permissions approved during authorization.

Information the Connector may access

Depending on the approved permissions and features used, the Connector may access, receive, display, create, or update:

  • QuickBooks company information.
  • Customer, vendor, and related contact information.
  • Products, services, accounts, and accounting lists.
  • Estimates, invoices, payments, expenses, and related transactions.
  • Reports, balances, record identifiers, and synchronization information.
  • Other QuickBooks records expressly selected or authorized through the Connector.

How information is used

Information accessed through the Connector may be used to:

  • Authenticate and maintain the authorized QuickBooks connection.
  • Retrieve, display, organize, and synchronize requested business records.
  • Create or update records when initiated by an authorized user or approved business workflow.
  • Support estimating, invoicing, accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and business administration.
  • Associate information with the appropriate customer, project, or transaction.
  • Diagnose errors, provide support, maintain security, and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Satisfy applicable accounting, contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations.

QuickBooks data is not used for unrelated advertising. Beechwood Handymen does not sell or rent QuickBooks data.

Sharing and service providers

Connector data may be processed by Intuit and by service providers that support the Connector’s hosting, security, data storage, communications, and business operations.

Information may also be disclosed at the direction of an authorized user; to employees, contractors, or professional advisers who reasonably require access for an authorized purpose; when required by law, legal process, accounting obligations, or regulatory requirements; or when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, security incidents, unauthorized use, or threats to rights, safety, or property.

Service providers receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform the services for which they are engaged and remain subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.

Retention, disconnection, and deletion

An authorized user may revoke the Connector’s QuickBooks access through the connected-app controls provided by Intuit or QuickBooks Online, or may contact Beechwood Handymen for assistance.

After access is revoked, the Connector will no longer retrieve new information from the disconnected QuickBooks company.

Connector authorization credentials and Connector-specific cached data will be deleted or disabled within a reasonable period following disconnection. We will respond to a verified request to delete eligible Connector data within 30 days unless longer retention is reasonably required for backups, security, accounting, contractual, dispute-resolution, or legal obligations.

Disconnecting or deleting Connector data does not require the deletion of legitimate estimates, invoices, transactions, project documents, or other business records that were previously created or that Beechwood Handymen is legally or reasonably required to retain.

Security

Beechwood Handymen uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect Connector information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss.

Access is limited to authorized people and service providers who reasonably need the information for an approved purpose. No internet transmission, integration, or electronic-storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices

Subject to applicable law and legitimate recordkeeping requirements, an authorized user may contact Beechwood Handymen to request assistance disconnecting QuickBooks Online, ask what Connector information is retained, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of eligible Connector information, or ask how Connector information is used or shared.

We may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority over the affected QuickBooks company before completing a request.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated when the Connector, connected services, legal obligations, or data practices change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.
