Beechwood Business Connector Terms of Use

Terms governing authorized use of the Beechwood Business Connector and its QuickBooks Online connection.

Last updated: September 8, 2026

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the Beechwood Business Connector.

By authorizing or using the Connector, you agree to these Terms. If you act on behalf of a company or another organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms and authorize access on that organization’s behalf.

The Connector

The Beechwood Business Connector provides approved business-administration features that may connect with QuickBooks Online and retrieve, display, organize, synchronize, create, or update authorized business records.

The Connector is intended for authorized business use and is not offered as a general public application.

Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into an agreement to use the Connector.

You may connect a QuickBooks Online company only if you are authorized by its owner or administrator to access the company and its affected records.

QuickBooks authorization

QuickBooks Online connections are authorized through Intuit. You are responsible for:

  • Selecting the correct QuickBooks company.
  • Reviewing and approving the requested permissions.
  • Protecting your Intuit and QuickBooks credentials.
  • Maintaining accurate account information.
  • Ensuring that anyone acting through your account is authorized.
  • Promptly revoking access or notifying us if you suspect unauthorized use.

Beechwood Handymen and the Connector do not receive your QuickBooks password.

You may disconnect the Connector through Intuit’s or QuickBooks Online’s connected-app controls or by contacting Beechwood Handymen for assistance.

Your instructions and records

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information, selections, and instructions provided through the Connector.

You must review estimates, invoices, payments, expenses, reports, customer records, and other transactions before relying on them, transmitting them, or using them for accounting, tax, financial, or legal purposes.

The Connector is an administrative tool. It does not provide accounting, tax, financial, or legal advice. You remain responsible for your business records, approvals, filings, and professional decisions.

Acceptable use

You may use the Connector only for lawful and authorized business purposes. You may not:

  • Access another person’s or organization’s information without authorization.
  • Misrepresent your identity, authority, affiliation, or instructions.
  • Circumvent authentication, permissions, security controls, or usage restrictions.
  • Attempt to disrupt, damage, overload, scan, or gain unauthorized access to the Connector or a connected service.
  • Introduce malicious code or fraudulent information.
  • Copy, reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Connector without written authorization.
  • Use the Connector in a manner that violates applicable law, another agreement, or another person’s rights.

Third-party services

The Connector may interact with services operated by other companies, including Intuit QuickBooks Online and providers supporting hosting, security, communications, and data storage.

Use of a third-party service remains subject to that provider’s terms, privacy policy, subscription, permissions, and availability.

Beechwood Handymen is not Intuit and is not responsible for the operation or availability of QuickBooks Online. References to Intuit and QuickBooks identify compatible third-party services and do not imply sponsorship or endorsement unless expressly stated.

Privacy

Collection, use, sharing, protection, retention, and deletion of Connector information are described in the Beechwood Business Connector Privacy Notice.

By authorizing a QuickBooks Online connection, you instruct the Connector to access the approved QuickBooks company and process the information necessary to perform the features you request.

Ownership

The Connector, its software, design, documentation, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Beechwood Handymen and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You retain ownership of information that you lawfully provide. You grant Beechwood Handymen the limited permission necessary to access, process, transmit, and store that information to provide the Connector’s authorized functions.

Third-party names, logos, products, and services remain the property of their respective owners.

Availability and changes

Beechwood Handymen may modify, maintain, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the Connector when reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, legal compliance, provider changes, or business operations.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features that depend on Intuit or another provider may be affected by that provider’s availability, permissions, updates, or usage limits.

Suspension and termination

Beechwood Handymen may restrict or terminate access if we reasonably believe that the Connector is being used without authorization, these Terms or applicable law have been violated, continued access presents a security, operational, or legal risk, or a required third-party connection is no longer available.

You may stop using the Connector and revoke its QuickBooks authorization at any time.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Connector is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Beechwood Handymen does not warrant that the Connector will be uninterrupted, completely secure, free of errors, or suitable for every accounting or business purpose. We do not warrant the accuracy or availability of information supplied by Intuit or another third-party service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beechwood Handymen will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the Connector or a connected third-party service.

Beechwood Handymen is not responsible for losses caused by inaccurate user instructions, unauthorized account access, third-party outages, changes to third-party services, or a user’s failure to review business or accounting records.

These limitations apply only to the extent permitted by applicable law and do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Beechwood Handymen and its owners, employees, and contractors from claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Connector, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of another person’s rights.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in a state or federal court having jurisdiction in New Hampshire, unless applicable law requires another location.

Changes to these Terms

These Terms may be updated when the Connector, connected services, business practices, or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.

Continued use after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
